Second complot de meurtre distinct en 2024 : réseau Shakeri-Rivera-Loadholt, puis peines de 15 et 10 ans
Dans une opération distincte du réseau Amirov-Omarov, le DOJ a annoncé en novembre 2024 que l’actif du CGRI Farhad Shakeri avait recruté Carlisle Rivera et Jonathan Loadholt pour localiser et tuer Alinejad contre rémunération. Rivera a été condamné à quinze ans de prison en janvier 2026 et Loadholt à dix ans en mai 2026 ; Shakeri restait en fuite.
